The 8.9 magnitude earthquake and tsunami in Japan has provided one of the best examples of how we can use mobile video to share breaking news. Even just a few years ago, we would not have seen eyewitness accounts of the tsunami as we are today. From people shooting amateur video on their iPhones to a sports reporter stranded in Japan sharing his story via Skype, breaking news is quickly shared. And in tragedies like this, it adds much more of a human element to be able to see what is going on at the scene.
